with our Courageous Children
We are a group of mums raising money to provide fun and enjoyment to children in hospital who are undergoing enduring health problems.
So far we have raised £25,000.
£18,200 has been used to fund a children’s entertainment programme provided by FUNfORCE to attend the Jenny Lind Children’s hospital, wards and outpatient clinics weekly for the next two years (starting December 2015).
£5,000 will be handed over to the playteams on ward C2 and the Paediatric Day Unit at Addenbrookes at the beginning of December for them to replenish their resources used for supporting children and their families coping with cancer.
Helping poorly children smile and laugh through entertainment is our aim.
We are now working with the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital Foundation Trust (Registered Charity Number: 1048170) to fund the third year of the entertainment programme.
We want this programme to continue so that it can support children facing some of the scariest times in their life – you cannot underestimate the therapy of fun!!
